KUDY MAHANTY CHILDREN'S' EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TRUST (KMCEO Trust), a city based charitable trust was founded in memory of Kudy Mahanty, daughter of Rupa and Niroop Mahanty, with the purpose of furthering college education amongst the meritorious and needy students of Jamshedpur. KMCEO Trust offers the "Kudy Mahanty Scholarships" to deserving candidates to enable them to meet their scholastic goals. "Furthering Aspirations", is the motto of KMCEO Trust. KMCEO Scholarship financial assistance is available to any qualified student, irrespective of the applicant's caste, community, gender or religion. To qualify for a KMCEO scholarship, an applicant must be studying in a course approved by the Trust and meet specified eligibility criteria.

• Merit - 85% and above marks in 10th and 12th Boards.
• Financially challenged - Family income less than Rs. 2.5 Lakhs PA.
• Focused on higher education with defined goals.
• Pursuing or obtained admission in any institute of repute.
• Possesses high values and ethical standards.

• The desirous candidate to fill in a prescribed form attaching all documentary evidcence as mentioned in the form.
• The filled in application form should be submitted either to KMCEO Trust's email or handed over to a member of the Trust.
• Shortlisted candidate will be interviewed by the Trustees.

Graduation and Post-Graduation courses in the areas of

• Management Studies / Engineering / Medical Sciences.
• Finance / Economics / Law / Journalism / Literature / Humanities.
• Normal degree / post graduate courses.
• Any other professional course (approval by the trustees needed)

• Upto 90% or 1.5 Lakh whichever is less, wef. 1st February 2022.
• To the candidate or the institute depending on the discretion of the Trustees.

• Candidates will be disqualified if they try to influence the Trustees in any way.
• The scholarship is liable to be withdrawn in case academic and character excellence is not demonstrated.
• Guidelines approved by the Trustees may undergo changes over time.
• Decision of the KMCEO Trust is final.
